Press Preview of the Detroit Auto Show Ends

Today, January 13, 2009, was the last day of the Press Preview of the Detroit Auto Show. The main feature by virtually all of the manufacturers was hybrid, electric, and plug-in electric vehicles. The show was overshadowed by the present economy which caused dramatic showcases to be a little more subdued over the past. In fact, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Land Rover, Rolls-Royce, and Ferrari were not present at the show due to financial constraints.

The good news is that slow sales did not hold back some dramatic North American manufactured vehicle announcements.

We have given you a short preview of the information that we were exposed to at the show. We will be providing a much more extensive overview, with pictures, in the inaugural edition of the AllAmericanhybrid.com eZine.
